The Land of Og

In the lovely peaceful land of Og there lived a doctor. This doctor was a wacky, wild and crazy doctor. Each day his patients were diagnosed with a strange diagnosis. Such as the burning buns syndrome which was diagnosed to little Mary Maze when she sat on a hot potato. To go along with those diagnoses where strange cures such as do 10 cartwheels every 20 minutes. Somehow these cures worked very well, and people in the village loved the crazy doctor. But alas all good things come to an end for the crazy doctor died one summer’s day. Over time the people of Og forgot about him and his cures. All except one little boy, the doctor’s grandson. Now this little boys name was Richie, and he was indeed rich, for the crazy old doctor had left his parents his mansion and money. So as Richie grew up he learned each and everyone of his Grandfather’s cures and diagnosis’s without ever thinking he would need to use them. Little did he know what lay ahead, for by the time he turned 20 the King of Og was quite old, and if he didn’t want the throne to go to his evil nephew then he would have to find his only beautiful daughter a husband very soon. But none of the men would have her for she had never smiled in all her years. So the king called all the men in the land, besides the ones who were married of course, to come and try to make the princess smile. The man who could make her smile would get his daughters hand in marriage. But alas none could even make her eye twinkle. Soon there was not a single man left, but Richie the grandson of a madman. The people laughed at him as he walked into the castle. They jeered at him and said that the grandson of a mad doctor could never even make the princess notice him. Richie ignored them and quietly walked into the room where the princess sat gazing out the window in a melancholy way. Richie did exactly what his grandfather’s books said to do with someone who would not smile, he simply started laughing a horrendously geeky laugh. The Princesses head snapped around to look at him. For a minute she just stared in surprise. Richie was beginning to think that it wouldn’t work when she smiled and giggled ever so slightly. So he laugned even louder and geekier than ever before, and the Princess laughed so hard that the king lying in his bed heard her. Immediately the king called Richie to him and said Richie could have his daughter's hand if she agreed. The princess agreed and so Richie married the princess, and they lived happily ever after treating patients by using none other than the wacky doctors cures.
